A Traitor Like Judas started breathing in December 2000. After intensive
rehearsing the guys started to rock shows already three months later.
Overwhelming crowd reactions at gigs strengthened their will to perform
on stage and to invest all possible time and energy in the band. One year
later A Traitor Like Judas had grown to be a serious hardcore act and
they were ready for the next big step. Their first European Tour together
with Narziss in early 2002. Through their furious live shows the guys
could convince Erdkampf Records from Austria to release their debut. Six
months and many shows later the "Poems For A Dead Man" MCD saw
the light of day right before the band’s second European tour. After
many successful shows Chris joined the band as second guitar player and
A Traitor Like Judas was finally complete. The band joined forces with
Winter Recordings in November 2002, who released their debut full length
“too desperate to breathe in” in Summer 2003. Another three-week
European tour followed and erased all doubts about the fact that A Traitor
Like Judas was one of the hardest working and most active metal / hardcore
bands around. In 2004 A Traitor Like Judas decided to part ways with Winter
Recordings and joined the Let It Burn family. This collaboration gave
birth to a split CD with their good friends Under Siege entitled “Ten
Angry Men”. The 5 tracks A Traitor Like Judas contributed to this
masterpiece of metal hardcore were the fastest, most technical and ass-kicking
songs the band had written so far. Due to this effort, the band raised
serious interest in one of the most established hardcore labels around…Goodlife
Recordings from Belgium! A new full length called "Nightmare Inc."
will be out in fall 2K5!
